At the helm of our endeavors is Erica Buchanan, the Executive Director of COA. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the organization, actively participating in the training and development of her team members. One of her primary avenues for leadership engagement is through our Leadership Retreats.

During these retreats, Buchanan is known to provide insightful perspectives on a variety of issues, one of which includes the subject of change. She aims to equip her team with the necessary tools and strategies to navigate change effectively, fostering an environment that not only accepts change, but also sees it as a means to innovate and improve. Her teachings are a testament to the emphasis CADENCE of Acadiana places on the continuous growth and evolution of its management teams.
